If you deeply want to connect with Hawai’i, you will have to go within. And that is exactly what we will do, with intention and respect for you and the beautyful ‘Āina (land) that you walk on.
We will travel with uttermost respect for Hawai’i Island, her sacredness and nature. We only will visit places that invite us, or give permission after a ritual of asking.
Going to places with the intent to connect on a deeper level, brings responsability. As your guide, I am the one who will carry that responsibility by listening to and respecting the ‘Āina (land) and following protocol as my kumu (teacher), and other kumus, taught me. Hawaiian style, with chant, prayer and intention.
We will make lei offerings to nature to connect deeper with her and to offer our gratitude to Hawai’i.
At sacred places, we will not only celebrate Hawai’i but also you, by being present, by a ritual, chant or what else resonates. It will be our sacred time in which all is possible. It may be time for release of the old or a rise of new energy.
Making lei is a way to connect with Hawai’i, the ‘Āina (land) and with yourself. It’s a moment to pause, to fully take in the moment, to set intentions and place your prayers in the ti leaves and flowers.
Every retreat is attuned to your needs, to where you find yourself in life right now.

How does your One Day Retreat look like?
We will meet at the time of your choice.
7AM - 2PM Meet @ the parkinglot to Papakōlea/Green Sand Beach
8AM - 3PM Meet @ the parkinglot of Punalu’u Bakery in Naalehu
7AM - 2PM RETREAT
We meet at the parkinglot to Papakōlea Beach (Green Sand Beach).
We will walk the 2 miles to Papakōlea Beach before the sun shines at her brightest. We walk with intention and take in all the beauty on our path. Since we are early, we may be lucky and have the view on Green Sand Beach for ourselves.
At Green Sand Beach I let myself guide us. Nature may surprise us and ask me to perform a ceremony with Hawaiian elements (like chanting) for you or something completely different!
We can walk our way back to the car or we can hop on one of the trucks that transport people back and from. Whatever you choose: it’s awesome!
After returning, we will drive off road to a quiet place where I will teach you how to make lei. We will have ceremony with the lei to honor you.
At the end of the day I would love to give you a Blessing of Feminine Presence, in nature.

8AM - 3PM RETREAT
We meet at the parking lot of Punalu’u Bakery in Naalehu. They open at 8am. You can get some breakfast/lunch, a drink or one of their famously delicious malasadas.
We will pick (some) flowers and then drive to the Southpoint area with my car. On the way, we will find a quiet spot where I will teach you how to make lei.
We will bring our (100% natural) lei to a sweet place near Papakōlea Beach (Green Sand Beach), where we will have a simple ceremony with Hawaiian elements (chanting, prayer, honoring nature, you and your intention).
At the end of the day I will give you a Blessing of Feminine Presence, in nature.
